 Tamil nadu is the southernmost state of india.
You remember the northernmost state Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka and kerala are its neighbours on two sides .in the extreme south of tamil nadu is cape comorin,which also marks the southernmost tip of India .it is also known as kanniyakumari. A cape is a pointed piece of land jutting into the sea .at cape comorin, the waters of the Indian ocean, the lakshadweep sea and bay of Bengal meet.
