Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep islands are the only coral islands of India. They are a vastly scattered group of the coral islands that are 36 in total. Lakshadweep is an exciting tourist destination and the most new attraction of India. Kadmat, Agatti, Kavaratti, Bangaram, Kalpeni, and Minicoy are the famous tourist islands.

Climate of Lakshadweep

Climate in Lakshadweep is characterized as having tropical Lakshadweep climate. In the months of September to March temperature varies between 27 and 32 degree Celsius.

However, in April and May temperature fluctuates between 30 and 33 degree Celsius. In lagoon the water temperature moves around 25 to 27 degree centigrade.

As per monsoons are concerned depending on the nature of Lakshadweep climate, it can be said that from 15 May to 15 September monsoon period prevails here.

In Lakshadweep weather monsoon period raises temperature to the mercury level between 27 and 30 degrees. Water temperature however remains at 25 degrees.
