Delhi is the capital of India . It is a state and it is Surrounded by Haryana and Uttar Pradesh . The Major Part of the State of Delhi is Made up of New Delhi and the Historical City of Old Delhi. Surrounding Villages from The Remaining Part.

Delhi is an ancient City. It has been of Capital of Many Indian Rurals in the Past. It is among the Oldest capitals of the world. Its Name and character have been changing Under Different Rulars. One of the Earliest names of Delhi was Indraprastha. It was the capital of Pandavas at that time. Later the Mughul emperor shah jahan named it shahjahanabad . This area of delhi is none as “ old Delhi” . When the British became the Rulars ‘ They shifted their capital from Calcutta to delhi. They selected a new site near old delhi for the construction of the new capital. This new capital was planned by Edwin lutyens and was name New Delhi.

New Delhi is among the Most Beautiful cities of India. It is one of the greenest capital cities of the world. The capital of a country is the place from where its Government works.
